Naples Bay Resort & Spa, a member of Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels® in Naples Florida, has announced on September 19, 2013 a new promotional package called Make Waves. The Make Waves getaway package will give hotel guests an opportunity to use one of the hotel’s rental boats for free during their stay.
The Make Waves package includes four nights in a one- or two-bedroom suite, one full day boat rental with a picnic basket lunch for the trip, and breakfast daily, for two. An additional full day boat rental can be added for $99, and hotel rooms start at $239 per night.
The Naples Bay & Resort features many hotel amenities including a 92 slip marina where it offers boat rentals. Rental boats at the marina include 22-foot Kayot and 24-foot Everglades boats. Hotel guests can take the helm of one of the available boats to explore the nearly 100 miles of islands and estuaries, including the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, and find their own fishing and snorkeling spots or visit other famous locations in the area.
The Make Waves boat rental bundle is available now through December 20, 2013. Reservations are available directly with the Naples Bay Resort & Spa.
Marine Marketing Best Practices
The Naples Bay Resort and Spa is taking advantage of the fact that it is the only hotel in Southwest Florida with its own fully operational Yacht Club and Marina and with water access to the Gulf of Mexico. The Make Waves boat rental package takes full advantage of its ability to offer boat rentals to hotel guests. The promotional deal will likely result in more people staying longer at the hotel to include a boat rental experience in their vacation.
This marketing promo could also work in other areas where a hotel and boat rental business could team up to create a package deal. The promotion would be a great way to showcase a nearby marina or boat dealer that offers rentals, while gaining additional customers.
