Discover Boating will join country music artist Jake Owen for his nationwide “Days of Gold” tour as presenting sponsor to attract more boaters
Discover Boating, the national boating awareness campaign developed by the North American recreational boating industry, has announced they will be the presenting sponsor of the upcoming nationwide tour for Jake Owen with full marketing and promotional opportunities throughout the tour.
Jake Owen is a popular country music artist as well as an active boater and angler who grew up on the water in Florida. In addition to personally being relatable to the the American boater or potential boater, Jake Owen’s music conveys the fun of boating. His tour set-up even mimics the look of a boat dock along the water, creating a feeling of summer boating fun at each of his shows.

As presenting sponsor of the Jake Owen Days of Gold Tour, Discover Boating will be featured in all Days of Gold tour elements including signage, television, radio and online advertising, PR, and social media, as well as his tour trucks that will cross the country throughout the tour.
The shows will feature large video screens with footage of Jake Owen boating, as well as special Discover Boating videos. The in-show video screens will also incorporate interactive social media elements that will encourage his fans to share their boating stories and join the fun on Discover Boating’s Facebook page and DiscoverBoating.com.
Shows will run from April 2014 through October 2014, taking place in boating-centric markets nationwide throughout the tour schedule.
