Partnership offers offer no cost boat safety and certification courses by BOATERExam.com for Boatbound boat renters in select states
Boatbound, a fully insured peer-to-peer boat rental marketplace, has announced on June 27, 2013 that they have entered into a new partnership agreement with BOATERexam.com to suppoort the shared goal of making boating safer and more accessible.
The partnership will offer boaters in Florida and California free access to the BOATERexam.com online boat safety course and exam, and boaters in New York no cost access to an exam preparation course. These boat safety courses allow boaters to meet mandatory education requirements and to obtain their official boater education card or boating license online.
According to Boatbound founder and CEO Aaron Hall, “Every boat owner who rents their boat through Boatbound wants to make sure the person using their boat is qualified. Our partnership with Boaterexam.com furthers our commitment to safe boating by ensuring a safer rental experience and eliminating the cost barrier, making safe boating accessible to everyone.”
Free access to the BOATERexam.com online boat safety course and exam will be available in conjunction with Boatbound’s official launch. The partnership will also work together to promote safe boating activity.
Marine Marketing Opportunity
This partnership demonstrates the effectiveness of teaming up with marine industry businesses to support mutually beneficial marketing and business goals. By creating this partnership with BOATERexam.com, Boatbound is eliminating one of the potential hurdles for people new to boating. Leveraging the existing BOATERexam.com platform is an effective way to remove a barrier for new renters and assist in the launch of their boat rental marketplace. These additional opportunities for new boaters also help to support the overall industry initiative to grow interest in boating.
