Jump it boatingPower technology company enters marine market targeting boating enthusiasts with portable jumper cable product

mPower Technologies Inc., the consumer products division of the publicly traded mPhase Technologies, Inc., has announced a successful launch into the marine market with their mPower JUMP IT exhibit at the NY Boat Show held January 1-5, 2014.

Testing the waters at the NY Boat Show has confirmed consumer interest with boaters for the mPower JUMP IT product and solidified the company’s decision to expand on their success in the automotive market by entering specialty niche markets like the marine industry.

The mPower JUMP IT is a full powered, easily transportable, rechargeable jump starter that features fast recharge times and fits in a glove box (or storage locker on a boat). With an introductory MSRP of $89.95, the high capacity battery technology eliminates the need for jumper cables, allowing boaters to independently restart a 12V battery.

In addition to building positive boater interest and selling mPower JUMP IT units at the NY Boat Show, the company’s exhibit opened new doors for product distribution.  mPower Technologies was able to establish distribution partnerships with marina owners and retail suppliers to the boating industry, with several deals signed during the show. The mPower JUMP IT website also experienced increased traffic activity as a result of their exhibit.

Activity at the NY Boat Show accomplished the goal of creating consumer awareness and establishing distribution interest in the mPower JUMP IT product for the boating industry.

The NY Boat Show exhibit is just one part of a broader 2014 marketing campaign initiative for mPower JUMP IT that will feature radio spots, print ads, mobile media and internet advertising targeting consumers in multiple niche segments.
